HiBreeds scores a hatch trick!

We are thrilled to announce that Her Majesty the Queen has awarded HiBreeds the 2015 Queen's Award for International Trade for outstanding achievement.

Awarded by HRH Queen Elizabeth, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, the award recognises HiBreeds' outstanding achievement and growth in export sales since 2011. The company has currently sold in excess of 350 million eggs to Saudi Arabia and has achieved sales of more than £100 million since incorporation.

Company Director Laura Chandler says, "We are delighted to have been awarded the Queen’s Award for the third time. It is recognition of all the hard work and dedication put in by the whole of the HiBreeds team. We have faced many challenges over the last few years, and have had to adapt to the changes in exchange rates, switching trading currencies and soaring demand and competition. The poultry industry is becoming increasingly competitive and this award will to help bolster HiBreeds presence in the search for new markets. It is an incredible honor to carry the Queens Award Emblem for a third time – it truly is a hatch trick!"

Events like this are created by the outstanding performance of everyone involved in this huge logistical process, no one person or company alone can make this happen. This is a true team effort and everyone at HiBreeds would like to take the opportunity to thank all our egg producers, packers, drivers, airline employees, freight personnel and transport partners, as well as the support from the Banks and IT support teams.
